With a brand-new deck of playing cards in his hand, an elegantly-attired thaumaturge enters a lavishly decorated stage and places an enormous blank card atop a sturdy decorative bench. Then, before our very eyes, by fire and the pure power of illusion, the conjurer transforms a plain nine of spades card into a full-size Queen of Hearts whose regal presence exudes elegance and gracefulness. But beware; wherever there is a Queen, there is also a King.

A mischievous black imp hiding in a hotel room, enjoys his privacy jumping around from the bed to the table, and then, from the chair to the priceless davenport. However, when a respectable resident arrives escorted by the landlady and her husband, before long, the furniture will begin vanishing or stacking into impossible configurations, and much to the visitor's surprise, teleport back into the room. Eventually, as the culprit manifests before the man's eyes, inevitably, pandemonium ensues. Is there a way to get rid of this nuisance?

However--despite all sophisticated methods of instantaneously masking the shady activities--there's always the risk of getting caught, especially when the local police department is thirsting for a success. But, sometimes, indulging in pure fun is just too tempting.
